Revealing the potential of dark data and open data with a scoring algorithm

The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) has identified the untapped potential of its Dark Data, as well as of the data available in Open Data. They recognized that this information could be an important resource for businesses looking to set up or relocate. The challenge was to develop a methodology to exploit this data and make it easily accessible to businesses. The aim was to offer a decision support tool, based on solid data, to guide companies in choosing their geographical location.

10h11 has developed a scoring algorithm based on CCI Open Data and Dark Data to help with geographic location decision-making. We created an interactive mapping interface that allows businesses to specify their needs. The algorithm then analyzes these criteria against the available data and recommends the optimal location. By using a geographical network in France, we were able to provide precise and relevant advice, adapted to the specific needs of each company.
